It differs slightly from agent to agent but generally based as follows:

  • Full refund for more than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date except bank transfer fee charged met from airfare and holiday package fee remitted by the clients.
  • 10% penalty for the tour cancelled within 60 days from the scheduled arrival date or start of the trip.
  • 20% penalty for the tour cancelled within 30 days from the scheduled date of arrival. 
  • 30% penalty on the tour cancelled within 7 days from the scheduled date of arrival. 
  • No refund admissible for duration lost or trip shortened due to unforeseen reason after arrival in Bhutan.

It may also be noted here that Drukair, Bhutan Airlines and the high-end resorts are governed by their respective cancellation and refund terms and conditions.
